Madrid, 15 December 2022. PwC Tax & Legal, the law and tax advisory firm of PwC, today announced the launch of the second edition of the Tax & Legal Tech Springboard, its accelerator for startups specialising in the development of technological solutions for the tax and legal departments and areas of companies. The acceleration programme is supported by Amazon Web Services.

The Tax & Legal Tech Springboard aims to promote the entrepreneurship of two types of startups. On the one hand, those that already have tax or legal solutions at an advanced stage of development -and that need to validate the integration and adaptation of their product in the Spanish market-. On the other hand, startups that, although they do not currently offer these types of solutions, have technological initiatives underway that allow them to establish at least one use case to co-create together with PwC Tax & Legal and Amazon Web Services.

The programme offers participating startups mentoring plans (on the business model, for the validation or co-creation of solutions, technical, commercial and financial), specialised advice and access to investors. The startups will also have the possibility of being advised by PwC's High Growth Companies Area and will also have access to different commercial agreements.

The applications will be analysed by a committee of experts made up of professionals from PwC Tax & Legal and Amazon Web Services, who will evaluate them according to criteria such as the level of innovation and business potential, among others

Those interested can register from today until 3 February on the official website of the acceleration programme https://www.pwc.es/springboard, where they will find all the necessary information.

The first edition of the Tax & Legal Tech Springboard was a great success and resulted in the development of five projects, including platforms for managing family wealth (Atalaya), executing contracts (Docgilty), managing mass claims (Reclamaclick); software for knowledge management (Zapiens), and comprehensive solutions in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (Xperiencia Virtual). All of them were presented at the NewLaw Summit 2022, the annual meeting organised by PwC Tax & Legal on the digitisation of the legal and tax areas of companies.
