A group of Spanish companies-Gas Natural, Iberdrola, Repsol and Endesa are in the select club of 60 world's most transparent companies when reporting their CO2 emissions. This follows from the Global 500 Climate Change prepared by PwC and the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) from the data of 389 companies making up the FTSE Global 500 and 772 interviews with institutional investors.

The document includes two indicators: the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index, which measures the degree of transparency of the companies in relation to their carbon emissions, and the Climate Performance Leadership Index, which analyzes the effectiveness of the measures being undertaken to reduce them.
