PwC is committed to combating climate change with internal initiatives

PwC Spain has been calculating its carbon footprint since 2008 and has established targets and systems to reduce and control the level of its carbon footprint. This includes continuing with its ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions generated from business trips and purchase carbon credits to offset its carbon emissions. PwC’s aim is to neutralise its carbon emissions in the short term.

In addition, within the framework of its global commitment to sustainability and its respect for the environment in all the areas of its business, PwC Spain has set up an environmental management system according to ISO 14.001 which includes annual targets for improvement.

PwC has signed a voluntary agreement with the regional government of Andalusia to calculate its GEI emissions, establish a reduction programme and offset the emissions in Andalusia.
