Once again, this year the PwC Foundation, through its Action Plan for the year 2011-2012, wishes to announce its commitment to the Spanish society, to its sustainable development and, especially, to entrepreneurs.
Our mission is to collaborate with the Spanish society by sharing its capabilities, experience and resources to study, teach and disseminate financial, economic and legal knowledge; to protect the most vulnerable young people; and to promote cultural enrichment through relevant expressions.
The members of the PwC Foundation’s Board of Trustees have appointed Enrique Fernández-Miranda as the new Chairman of the Foundation.
Fernández-Miranda, the former general manager, succeeds Ramón Casals, who resigned from the chairmanship of the Foundation’s Board with effect from 30 June.
Responsible Economy Circle
A new breakfast seminar in the Responsible Economy Circle series, sponsored by the Bertelsmann Foundation, the PwC Foundation and the German Chamber of Commerce, was held on 25 April at the headquarters of the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain in Madrid.
The Board of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Foundation drafted the Code of Good Governance to establish a code of conduct applicable to its members within the spirit and philosophy that have inspired the good practice recommendations and principles in both non-profit entities in general, and, in particular, within the scope of the EU.
